Uncommon Voices Collective explores a unique and provoking combination: horror and religion. Alabaster published their first ever book, Don't Look Away, a study of eight biblical stories and their relevancy to various horror themes — including fear, demonization, silence, dehumanization, and more.

The project required blending these seemingly disparate subject matters and finding new ways for creative expression under the horror genre.
